Game play videos on You Tube…. Reality Glitch Plays!

January 21, 2016

Been making some game play videos to put up on You Tube, part to help encourage me to get back into some gaming and part for me to demonstrate some of my favourite Amiga games growing up.

There’s no narration at this point (no confidence to do that), so purely working on the aesthetics for now, getting the resolutions/sound correct, playing games either I know and can finish, or just showing a certain amount of game play for shits and giggles.

Anyway, here’s the first few to be released, any tips and tricks and advice welcome for getting rid of black borders (I’m capturing in Adobe Captivate and editing in Premiere). Or for making more interesting videos (captions, annotations etc), thanks for watching!

There’s a second part to Robin Hood (with a thrilling conclusion!) and PP Hammer, but couldn’t really stand playing any more Enchanted Land.

All the best,

@RealityGlitch

Workbench 1.3

January 8, 2016

Growing up I didn’t quite appreciate how Workbench could be used to its full potential, or used at all for that matter.

Here’s a little example of how I utilised this amazing piece of software back in the day.

All the best!

2015 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 9,600 times in 2015. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
